Copeland holds employee chili cook-off, winner- Karla Maple.
March 2018
Donald R. James Assisted Living Memory Care wing is completed. Staff, residents and community members celebrate with a ribbon cutting and open house.
April 2018
Copeland Oaks is awarded the United Methodist Association and EAGLE Best Practice Award.
May 2018
The Copeland Library holds bi-annual book and bake sale. Copeland has campus wide open house which brought in over 200 guests.
June 2018
Crandall Medical Center hosted their 2nd Annual Longest Day Event raising $1,200 for the Alzheimer Association.
July 2018
The Oaks Foundation holds 16th annual golf scramble raising $20,000 for the Copeland Life Care Fund.
August 2018
Copeland Oaks donates $1,120 to local food pantry from proceeds of July’s annual Car Cruise which brought in over 250 cars.
September 2018
The Oaks Foundation holds “A Gallery of Treasures” auction to benefit the Copeland Life Care Fund. Copeland residents receive awards at 2018 East and Mideast Ohio District 5 Regional Art Show.
October 2018
The Oaks Foundation holds annual Legacy Society Luncheon honoring planned gifts.
November 2018
Copeland celebrates Founder’s Day with the Tree of Life Celebration Service. Dr. Raymond Wilken was recognized posthumously with the Distinguished Service Award.
Copeland and Crandall Chaplain, Rev. David Parry, was recognized for Excellence by the Ohio Assisted Living Association.
December 2018
Almetra Hawkins, Copeland Oaks Dietary Supervisor, and Heather Powlowski, Crandall LPN Supervisor, are recognized with the Ruth Zealley Award.
