This easy to make dessert is a combination of salty and sweet, making it the perfect summer treat!

Crust Ingredients:

  • 2 c. crushed salted pretzels
  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 3 Tbsp granulated sugar

Filling Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounce container of frozen whipped topping (thawed)

Topping Ingredients:

  • 6 oz package strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 c. thinly sliced fresh strawberries


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together Jell-O and boiling water until Jell-O is completely dissolved. Add the strawberries. Place in refrigerator.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix Crust ingredients. Press into ungreased 13×9-inch baking dish. Bake 8 minutes. Cool on cooling rack.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat Filling ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until cool, 30 minutes or more.
  5. Carefully spoon gelatin topping over filling. Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours or until firm.
