• 6 cups chopped apples, skin on (your choices of apples)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Crisp Topping:
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted


  1. Add the apple pieces, sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch to a large bowl and toss well. Set aside.
  2. Add the flour, oats, cinnamon and brown sugar to a medium bowl and whisk until combined.
  3. Pour the melted butter over the flour mixture and toss with a fork until everything is moistened and well combined.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into your slow cooker and even out the top with a spoon.
  5. Put the lid on the slow cooker and cook for 2 hours on high or 3 1/2 to 4 hours on low
  6. Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and caramel sauce or your choice of topping.
