Updated on March 27, 2020:

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, implemented a “Stay at Home” order. This is the most dramatic action taken so far by the state to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Ohio.

To keep our residents healthy and safe, Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center will be following this order. A NO VISITOR policy has been implemented for the entire campus. Only essential employees and mail carriers will be permitted in areas outside of resident units.

Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate the unknown of this pandemic. We realize this is a very difficult situation for our residents, their family members, and employees.   We are encouraging family members to reach out to their loved ones via a telephone conversation, skype, facetime, email and social media. Our staff is here to assist in any way necessary to help residents communicate with their friends and family. Please contact social services if assistance is needed.

Family members may continue to drop-off items, groceries, etc. Security posted at the 15th Street entrance will direct the drop-off of items. A staff member will immediately deliver the items to the intended resident.

We realize this is an extremely difficult situation for our residents, family members, and employees. It’s so important to follow the governors’ orders so that we may get back to normal life as soon as possible. Again, thank you for understanding the importance of following these guidelines. We truly wish to keep our residents safe!

Kind regards,
Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center
