Memory Care Facilities
If you’re looking for a memory care facility for a loved one with early stage dementia or Alzheimer’s, you know the importance of finding the memory care and assistance they require but you also want to ensure that your loved one is enjoying a great quality of life.
If your loved one is beginning to noticeably suffer memory loss, from difficulty completing familiar tasks to confusion with time or place, you might be wondering what happens next, and how you are going to care for them along the way. You are aware that a memory care facility can provide the assistance your loved one needs, but it is important to you that they maintain a sense of normalcy after their transition from home.
Assisted Living Facility with Memory Care
The Donald R. James Assisted Living Memory Care Wing’s secured floor has 19 studio and one-bedroom suites that feature private walk-in showers and baths, including special suites for couples who want to remain living together. These units are attached to a communal kitchen social area where three daily meals are prepared for residents. We also have clean, supervised common social areas where we lead daily activities – a great place for friends to gather and families to visit.
In addition to private suites and amenities, our wing also has an emergency call system, STNA and skilled nursing care, and Certified Dementia Care Practitioners (CDPs) who are on-staff 24/7 to provide residents with memory care support and assistance – making the Donald R. James Assisted Living Memory Care Wing a combination between an assisted living facility and a memory care facility.
