What Cooking at Copeland?

Irresistible Breakfast Rolls (serves 4-6)

Ingredients:

1 loaf of thawed Rhodes frozen bread (can be found at Alliance Giant Eagle)
½ box of instant butter pecan or butterscotch pudding
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 stick of margarine
½ cup white (gran) sugar
½ cup brown sugar

Kay says, “If you are having overnight guests, here is a good breakfast roll that all will enjoy. You can even make this the night before and pop it into the oven in the morning!”

Directions:

  1. Cut one loaf of bread in half lengthwise & cut each into small pieces (7,8 or more)
  2. Place in a Bundt pan and sprinkle the instant pudding over the pieces
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon over that
  4. Melt margarine and mix the 2 sugars into it and pour over bread, pudding, cinnamon mixture
  5. Cover and let stand overnight, or until it rises
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes

Optional: mix chopped pecans into the butter/sugar mixture before pouring over the bread
