Marilyn used to have a bed and breakfast and would make this delicious homemade granola for her guests!
Ingredients:
- 5 C. oatmeal
- 2 C. W.W flour
- ½ C. cornmeal
- ¼ C. soy flour
- 2 C. coconut
- ½ C. wheat germ
- 1 Tsp. salt
- ½ C. brown sugar
- ½ C. sesame seeds
- 1 C. sunflower seeds
- 1 C. chopped walnuts
- 1 C. chopped cashews
- ½ C. oil
- ¼ C. honey
- 1 C. water
Directions:
- Mix all dry ingredients first, then combine with liquid ingredients.
- Mix combination with hands and put on cookie sheets or shallow pans in many batches.
- Bake at 200-225° F for 2-3 hours or until lightly browned.
- Add (your choice of combinations) raisins, chopped dried apricots, apples or currents.
- Seal and refrigerate or freeze to keep indefinitely.
