About the Life Care Fund
The Life Care Fund provides financial assistance through The Oaks Foundation to Copeland Oaks residents whose financial resources are no longer adequate to cover the costs of their care such as housing, meals, prescriptions, and healthcare needs. Life Care is a concept that makes Copeland Oaks unique among retirement communities.
No resident has ever been asked to leave for financial reasons. If a resident requires financial assistance from the Life Care Fund, they have the comfort and security knowing they will continue to be well cared for. Typically, this fund provides $800,000 to $1,000,000 a year in charitable care.
The Oaks Foundation is the fundraising arm for Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center. The foundation encourages philanthropy and Christian stewardship on behalf of Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center.
