February Oaks Award Winner: Danielle McLaughlin
Congratulations to our February OAKS Award winner, Danielle. Our monthly OAKS Award recognizes “Outstanding Acts of Kindly Service.”
Danielle was nominated for this award by a resident’s family member for her kindness and compassion.
Danielle’s nominator said, “Danielle is the sweetest, kindest, friendliest, most compassionate person to my mom and all other residents! I have never seen her without a smile on her face. She makes everyone feel special and cared about. She is the best by far and deserves to be honored.”
Danielle is a STNA at Copeland Oaks and has been for almost two years. Danielle helps assist residents with daily tasks and is there for them emotionally also.
Danielle says she loves what she does, “I feel everything I do here is rewarding. It’s hard to pick one thing. I guess it’s all the hugs, thank-you’s, and kind words from residents and their families.”
