The Model T Ford………..the 57 Chevy……….the 66 Mustang….Classic cars are a part of our American Heritage.

Copeland Oaks Retirement Community will celebrate the American romance with horsepower and design with a Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 31 from noon to 4 P.M.  Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 cars entered. The $5 per car registration fee will be donated to area food pantries.  Each car registered will be eligible for trophies awarded to the best of show, most nostalgic and most unusual.  Judges will be Copeland Oaks residents.   Owners will be entered in the door prize drawings.

Admission is free for visitors to the afternoon event. Guests are invited to bring the family to stroll around the beautiful 5-acre lake on the Copeland Campus to view the car show, enjoy music from the years of rock ‘n roll, and reminisce about the classic automobiles that have made memories.

The Copeland Oaks Dietary Department will serve free hot dogs, snacks and ice cream treats from the food tent.

The Copland Oaks Classic Car Cruise is organized in cooperation with Gene Johnson and the Salem Arby’s Cruisers, and the Copeland Oaks Community Information Department.
