Country Living. Community Life.
Our 250-acre campus is located in Northeast Ohio near the town of Sebring and centrally-located to the Akron-Canton, Cleveland, Youngstown-Warren, and Pittsburgh metro areas.
Copeland Oaks is situated on 250-acres in a lovely wooded setting with walking trails, gazebos, flower gardens and a well-stocked fishing lake.
Resembling a college campus, Copeland Oaks has three main areas providing a variety of housing options: The villa community; LakeShore Apartments and Activity Center; and the main complex named after Leon Beeghly, Youngstown industrialist. The 9 buildings of the Beeghly Complex house dining, social, entertainment and chapel areas besides assisted and catered living apartments.
Nestled among groves of oak, beech and maple trees, the villa community is a neighborhood of ranch homes varying in size from 900 to 1,800 square feet. Each villa has an attached garage, full basement and most have either a 3-season sun room or patio.
Residents of the LakeShore Apartments can enjoy a view of the 5-acre lake and have indoor access to covered parking and the activity center which includes Murphy Auditorium, the warm-water pool, and The Bistro for luncheon dining.
The hub of campus activity, the Beeghly complex houses the chapel, Bennett Auditorium, the library, wellness center, bank, green house, billiards room, Creativity Center, woodworking shop, Health Clinic, and many service areas. Also in the Beeghly complex are the formal dining room and LakeView Tererace for casual dining.
All areas of the campus are connected by well-lighted streets and walking paths. Golf carts, bicycles and scooters are common modes of campus transportation for residents. Hiking trails honeycomb the undeveloped, wooded areas of the campus.
The amenities and services on campus make living easy and pleasurable. In fact, you never need to leave the campus unless you want to.
