Schooler Lecture at UMU-The University of Mount Union has announced Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Cory A. Booker as the 2012-2013 Schooler Lecturer. Booker will speak on "How to Change the World with Your Bare Hands" at 8pm on Wed, March 6, 2013, in Timken Gymnasium. According to the Greater Talent Network, Booker took Oath of office as mayor of New Jersey's largest city in July, 2006, following a sweeping electorial victory and was re-elected for a second term in another overwhelming majority in 2010. Booker has a bold vision for the City of Newark, and the city's mission is to set a national standard for urban transformation by marshaling its resources to achieve security, economic abundance and an environment that is nurturing and empowering for individuals and families.
